So the X-Prize in Seattle was cool — but the actual Space Ship One is now hanging in the Smithsonian — a tad cooler. Right between The Spirit of St. Louis and the X-1.

On a quick visit to Seattle I came across this award for going into space:

Yes my favorite TV show is coming to the big screen. Joss Whedon’s sci-fi series is coming back in the feature film Serenity. And here’s the first broadsheet!

Interesting that River is so prominent — always suspected that her mysteriousness would be the central plot of the film. Opening September 30th.
